David A. Ordon - Chairman (since 1974)
David has invested the last 30 years building a successful Appraisal and Auction business in Canada and the United States. He has extensive experience as an Auctioneer and Appraiser with particular emphasis on machinery & equipment. He has conducted over 900 auctions on products ranging from Manufacturing, Restaurant, Warehouse, Textile to Automotive. David has earned a BBA in Economics, is a licensed Auctioneer and a member of the International Society of Appraisers and The National Auctioneer Association. David brings a vast array of appraisal and restructuring knowledge to the group.

An experienced financing executive with over 30 years of in-depth exposure and expertise in matters relating to commercial banking, mezzanine and venture capital financing and asset-based lending, David has directly and indirectly funded more than $1 Billion to the small to mid size business sector in Canada. David oversees the lending operations of Danbury. An MBA, David's strategic, creative and analytical capabilities provide proven results to enterprises requiring transitory financial relief. David chairs the Credit Committee of the Company.

Barry has an extensive accounting background in the wholesale, retail, and Appraisal and Auction industry. Barry's direct management experience has helped develop and manage the accounting and management procedures for multi-million dollar auctions. Barry earned his business degree in commerce at Queens University and began his career with KPMG in 1974. Since this time Barry has built on his experience by working in a senior capacity on a multitude of projects in senior financial positions. Barry is USPAP Certified.

Jim's broad base of financial expertise originates from his experience in commercial banking including commercial lending, branch management and venture capital investments. Additionally, Jim has valuable operational business experience from his successful engagements as interim CEO in a variety of companies in the building automation, e-commerce, and telecom industries. Jim's substantial expertise in M&A transactions was obtained through his work as a partner in a boutique investment bank. He also developed expertise in senior management at a publicly traded Canadian telecom company, and was a partner in a private telecommunications company before it consolidated and was subsequently acquired by a publicly traded US organization. For the past three years, Jim was the President and CEO of a successful independent purchase order financing company before moving to Danbury.

After spending more than 15 years working with companies to establish Accounting procedures, ensuring Financial Reporting and Government Remittances were accurate, timely and in compliance with all levels of Government and GAAP, Cathilynn now works with the clients of Danbury, to ensure they meet their reporting needs. Having spent a number of years working in a C.A Firm preparing companies for Government Audits, Cathilynn is well able to advise clients on procedures and regulations affecting government relations and beyond.
